Sierra Grace Kids

Welcome to Sierra Grace Kids

At Sierra Grace, we desire to come alongside you to help point your children toward Jesus Christ. Our team teaches, encourages, and prays for your children. We hope that your children will grow in faith and build lasting friendships with other children.

We offer childrens ministry for babies through 5th grade at both our 8:45 and 10:30 services. Check your children in when you arrive, then bring them with you to the sanctuary to participate in worship through singing. Please escort your children to their classroom whne they are dismissed from the sanctuary.

If you have any questions, please reach out.

Betsy Duncan | Children's Director

Twos & Threes

When your two year old is ready for a more structured environment than the toddler nursery, they are invited to join the “Twos & Threes” class. They willhave a little play time and then a Bible lesson and a snack.

Fours and Fives

He Has Spoken By His Son will give children an opportunity to discover who Jesus is--God’s own Son! In the New Testament, God has spoken to us by His Son Jesus. Jesus came into the world because of God’s redeeming lovefor us and Jesus has shown us a great deal about God’s character because He is a reflection of the Father. Studying these stories will help our children understand the nature and heart of the Father as well as His Son.

First Grade

The ABCs of God answers the all-important questions: "Who is God?" "What is He like?" and "How should I act toward Him?" First graders will search for answers to these questions in each Bible story they study. They will discover the attributes of God as each letter of the alphabet will represent a different attribute. This theological study will help children build a firm foundation for their faith.

Second Grade

Faithful to All His Promises will teach children that God's promises are what anchor our faith in the storms of life. Children will learn the promises of God as they study Bible stories that reveal the promises God has made. They will learn they can trust God’s promises with unshakable confidence. His promises are true and reliable because His character is absolutely trustworthy. When the storms come into their lives, children can trust in God’s promises and His perfect timing in fulfilling them.

Third Grade

In the Beginning... Jesus helps children understand the “big picture” of the Bible with Jesus at the center. By putting the Old and New Testaments together chronologically, children can better comprehend the intentional flow of the Bible--the progressive revelation of God’s plan of redemption, and the eternal, sovereign nature of that plan as it leads to the climax of Jesus’ death on the cross.

Fourth and Fifth Grade

How majestic is your Name- The names of God in the Bible are a reflection of His character, which is so glorious that He cannot be described by a single name. His character is communicated in hundreds of names progressively revealed in the Bible. But the focus of How Majestic Is Your Nameis not the many names, titles and references to God.
